Say Goodbye

As you drive south from I-15 and pass the cemetery, you’ll see what, in my opinion, is the most beautiful view in Toquerville.

Throughout the seasons, a cliff of black-edged rock provides a dramatic backdrop for the unusually dense trees and vegetation—a striking contrast to our mostly barren roadside views.

Sadly, the bypass road will blast through this beautiful scene, perhaps as soon as this summer.

Even though these pictures don’t do the site justice, there may not be much time left to enjoy it as it is. For now, all you can do is take a picture—and say goodbye…
